F2F #2: The Vintage vs. The Velocity
What does a winemaker have in common with a tech sales executive?
At first glance, not much. One works with time, patience, and restraint. The other is measured by speed, momentum, and quarterly results.
And yet, both make high-stakes decisions under pressure, where a single call can shape years of outcomes.
This F2F session focuses on the tension between vintage and velocity.
In tech, speed is a metric; In winemaking, time is a virtue.
This morning session will open with a short framing presentation about wine making (!), followed by a panel conversation bringing together a winemaker and two senior tech sales executives. Together, they’ll explore how different worlds think about growth, timing, trade-offs, and the discipline of saying no.
This is not about slowing down.
It’s about judgment.
Come curious:)
