Glass Clouds Ensemble hosts BlueBird Concerts on Governors Island for an afternoon of multi-genre music in a beautiful community arts salon!
Listen to the natural world around you through music, with a lineup of singer-songwriters, jazz artists, and lots of original music, hosted by singer-composer Azalea Twining 🌱🎵
All BlueBird donations go to local community orgs & mutual aid. Bring your friends, come hear some great music, and learn more about sustainability initiatives on Governors Island! If you're able to, please donate on Luma in advance or bring cash :)
Donations for this event go to Earth Matter NY, a community compost organization & small farm on Governors Island.
Venue
The Glass Clouds House (Building 14, Nolan Park) is a beautiful community arts space with cozy seating, art & sound installations, and air conditioning! Stay after the concert for light refreshments and to explore the exhibits on display.
Governors Island is a short ferry from Manhattan and Brooklyn – ferry schedule & more info. It's a great place to spend a weekend day, rain or shine, with lots of art exhibits, bike paths, and food trucks!

Glass Clouds Ensemble is an Organization in Residence with Governors Island Arts and is hosting free music programming on weekends all summer long.
BlueBird Concerts benefit concert series supports local mutual aid and direct distribution efforts through multi-hour, multi-genre performances in NYC.
Earth Matter NY is a community compost organization & farm on Governors Island, run by a small team of staff and volunteers. Earth Matter processes food scraps, donates compost and produce across the five boroughs, and is a leader in local sustainability education.
