African Payments 101 - T&P x NjiaPay
African Payments 101
How much do you really know about payments in Africa?
If you’re like most of us in the payments world, probably not as much as you’d like. We spend a lot of time talking about the US, Europe, or APAC. But Africa is still a bit of a blind spot for many of us.
So we thought we’d start with a simple 101.
For this session, Payments Club by Travel & Payments is hosting Jonatan Allback, CEO and Co-founder of NjiaPay, a Payments-as-a-Service company helping businesses across Africa simplify and scale online payments across cards, mobile money, and other alternative payment methods.
Jonatan works closely with merchants and payment companies across the region, so this will be a chance to hear directly from someone building in the ecosystem.
In this session, we’ll explore:
African Payments Ecosystem: Key Players & Local Infrastructure
South Africa: Market Trends, Regulations & Payment Methods
Leading Pan-African PSPs & Providers
Snapshot of Other Major Markets: Nigeria, Kenya & Egypt
The session will start with a short presentation, followed by an open discussion with the Payments Club community.
And most importantly, you don’t have to pay to attend. Register now!
