Cultivating Food and Health

​​Join us for a special CFS Conversations panel exploring the vibrant intersections of food, farming and health with Asher Wrigtht of Caney Fork Farms, a regenerative farming project in Tennessee and Dr. Stephanie Patterson, Assistant Professor of Clinical Pediatrics at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

​​Together, our speakers will share how their collaboration seeks to transform healthcare practice and medical education by incorporating farm-based Food is Medicine training. They’ll discuss how creative, multi-stakeholder program partnerships can rebuild thriving bioregional food systems that promote human health, environmental quality and farmer livelihoods.

​​We’ll hear the story of their personal career journeys and how they have intersected through a recent and emerging program partnership.

​​This is an opportunity to get to know these amazing speakers, engage with the intersection of human health and regenerative farming, and collectively envision a food system that supports healthy communities and a healthy planet.
