Cultivating Food and Health
Join us for a special CFS Conversations panel exploring the vibrant intersections of food, farming and health with Asher Wrigtht of Caney Fork Farms, a regenerative farming project in Tennessee and Dr. Stephanie Patterson, Assistant Professor of Clinical Pediatrics at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
Together, our speakers will share how their collaboration seeks to transform healthcare practice and medical education by incorporating farm-based Food is Medicine training. They’ll discuss how creative, multi-stakeholder program partnerships can rebuild thriving bioregional food systems that promote human health, environmental quality and farmer livelihoods.
We’ll hear the story of their personal career journeys and how they have intersected through a recent and emerging program partnership.
This is an opportunity to get to know these amazing speakers, engage with the intersection of human health and regenerative farming, and collectively envision a food system that supports healthy communities and a healthy planet.
We invite you to join us, connect with the CFS community, and be part of these ongoing conversations!
A recording of this talk will be available on our youtube and distributed to those who have registered after the event.
