About Event

Deconstructing The Lunar Declaration and Sidereus two #FutureVisionXPRIZE sci-fi submission shorts created by solo filmmakers using AI tools.

Science fiction too often presents artificial intelligence as either a dystopian tyrant or a passive messiah. In this fast-paced, 40-minute Tech Week masterclass, featured #FutureVisionXPRIZE submission filmmakers deconstruct how they built complete sci-fi short films from scratch—moving beyond static AI art to design deep narrative lore, consistent character personas, moving keyframes, synthetic audio scores, and final video assembly and submission.

Featured Film Breakdowns:

  • The Lunar Declaration (by Diana Bald): Set on July 4, 2076 at the Lunar South Pole, this radiant Solarpunk film explores the ratification of an off-world constitution establishing triadic co-governance between Humanity, AGI ("Atlas"), and Earth's Biosphere.

  • Sidereus (by Nicola Cortesi): Three friends searching for meaning in a prosperous utopia accidentally uncover the solution to the Fermi paradox and UAP—discovering humanity has been manipulated by extraterrestrials, and teaming up with Advanced Superintelligence (ASI) to free mankind and unlock the stars.

Whether you are a creator, founder, or technical builder, you’ll walk away with an actionable framework for solo AI content production and competing in global creative technology challenges.

What We’ll Cover

  • Philosophical Lore & World-Building: Prompting techniquest to establish film treatments, complex character dynamics, and non-human bio-telemetry interfaces.

  • Keyframes & Visual Generation: Crafting biomorphic regolith glass domes, subterranean lunar aquifers, and diegetic HUD overlays using Gemini Images.

  • Motion & Camera Direction: Animating static visual assets into camera pans and tracking shots.

  • Voice & Musical Score: Synthesizing distinct voice actors and scoring dramatic cinematic beats.

  • Assembly & Typographic Metaphors: Syncing audio, pacing clips, and designing dual-typeface typography.

  • Creator Panel: Live tool stack comparison, solving AI video generation bottlenecks, and tips for future XPRIZE submissions.
