MIT Alumni Club of Turkey Event with Ken Morse

The MIT Alumni Club of Turkey invites you to a special session with Ken Morse, former Founding Managing Director of the MIT Entrepreneurship Center, on The Global Entrepreneurship Imperative: Global Sales Strategies for Ambitious Entrepreneurs.

Ken Morse is an MIT alumnus and served as the Founding Managing Director of the MIT Entrepreneurship Center (1996–2009), where he conceived and launched the MIT Entrepreneurship Development Program (EDP), training more than 2,000 entrepreneurs from around the world. During his tenure, he worked closely with MIT faculty, alumni, and students to help shape the careers of over 3,500 tech CEOs and co-founders. Ken remains deeply connected to the Institute through his advisory work with MIT-founded startups and his ongoing role in promoting the MIT venture creation culture worldwide.

Today, Ken is the Chairman & CEO of Entrepreneurship Ventures Inc., delivering entrepreneurial skills workshops across Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and the Americas. He is a Visiting Professor at ESADE Business School in Barcelona, where he teaches Global Sales Strategies, and he holds the Chair in Entrepreneurship, Innovation & Competitiveness at Delft University of Technology. Ken is also an active angel investor and advisor to several Turkish startups, and he serves on the boards of innovative companies in the U.S., Europe, and New Zealand — continuing his mission of helping entrepreneurs turn cutting-edge technologies into successful global businesses.

Ken will share lessons from MIT’s venture creation culture on what makes entrepreneurial ventures successful — from building the right teams to crafting compelling value propositions. Drawing on his experience co-founding six high-tech companies, he will show how to apply proven global sales strategies to win beachhead customers, shorten sales cycles, and avoid the pitfalls that cause 80% of new products to fail. This session is for entrepreneurs and leaders who want to turn innovation into sustainable global businesses.
