​An end-of-year potluck to celebrate what we’ve built and how far we’ve come since The Thread’s inception in May 2025.

​This time, we are adding sparkle. Join fellow Thread members for a festive holiday celebration to toast your wins, share good food, celebrate the grit it took us to get here, and the glitter of inspiration and support we continue to spark across Vancouver’s tech scene

​🥗 Potluck Style

​Bring a dish you love (homemade or store-bought) to share. We’ll have a microwave and small fridge on-site. No oven or freezer, so plan something easy to warm or serve chilled.

​🍽️ BYOP: Bring Your Own Plate

​And utensils, a mason jar works great too! We’ll have extras, but this helps us stay low-waste and eco-conscious.

​🥂 Dry Gathering

​Our beautiful venue doesn’t allow alcohol, but trust us, the energy and connections will leave you feeling bubbly.

​🎁 The Thread Holiday Box

​This season, The Thread community is supporting Atira Women’s Resource Society by collecting gifts for women and children affected by all forms of gendered violence through their Holiday Drive Program.

​Bring a new, wrapped gift, big or small, to drop in our Purple Box at the event.

​Gift ideas include:

• ​Toys for all ages,

• ​New clothing or warm accessories,

• ​Personal care products,

• ​and gift cards from Walmart, London Drugs, Shoppers, Dollarama, Home Depot, Canadian Tire, Save-On-Food, Safeway, or Superstore.

​Please avoid items on Atira’s do-not-accept list, including food, alcohol, toy weapons, candles, used bedding, or anything damaged, perishable, or unsafe.

​⚠️ Limited to 20 women. If you RSVP, we are counting on you as another woman in tech might miss out.

​Final address will be shared upon confirmation. Parking is limited in the area, so transit, carpool, or rideshare is encouraged.
