Artist-Led Tour: Legal Assemblies
Dive into the nooks of Sim Lim Tower and Sim Lim Square as artists Urich Lau and Ong Kian Peng offer an insider look into their favourite haunts and purchases, sharing ways in which different technical equipment can be used to create interfaces at the intersection of art and technology. Explore various narratives surrounding Singapore’s electronics hub, a space both beloved and plagued by tales of unscrupulous business practices.
Meeting point will be shared with participants closer to the start of the workshop.
This is a paid workshop ($15). Registration will be approved after proof of payment is received.

About the programme
Misbehaving Machines invites the public into a shared study of how machines behave — through movement, sound, and code — unfolding across lectures, listening sessions, and workshops that explore how systems operate, interact, and respond. Rooted in curiosity, experimentation and collective learning, the series examines the evolving human-machine relationship through art and technology.
This programme is presented by Hothouse and supported by the National Arts Council's Arts x Tech Lab initiative.
