AI Design at Every Size

Startup, Scaleup & Enterprise.
Three perspectives on the changing world of design.

AI is changing how we design, what we design, and increasingly, what it means to be a designer. But those changes don't look the same everywhere.

In a startup, it's about moving fast, wearing multiple hats and making every decision count. In a scaleup, it's about balancing speed with growing complexity. And in an enterprise, it's about making change happen across large teams, established processes and entire organisations.

So, how does AI fit into each of these worlds? What skills matter most? And how is the role of design evolving as organisations grow?

For our next UXCrunch, we're bringing together three brilliant designers from across the startup, scaleup and enterprise worlds to share their experiences, challenges and perspectives on what's changing.

The Speakers

🚀 Startup: ÌníOlúwa Abíódún

Design Lead | Previously AirOps & Fin

What does it mean to lead design when you're building something from the ground up?

Drawing on her experience across startups including AirOps and Fin, Ini brings the early-stage perspective to the conversation. We'll explore how the demands on designers shift in smaller, fast-moving organisations, and what AI could mean for the way startup teams design, build and grow.

📈 Scaleup: Charlotte Sferruzza

Senior Product Designer | Fin (formerly Intercom)

Prototype Fast, Decide Well

AI has made building easier than ever. But knowing what to build? That's still the hard part.

Charlotte has spent over a decade designing complex technical products and now works on AI agents for customer support at Fin.

She'll show how designers can use AI to create incredibly high-fidelity prototypes in minutes, explore more possibilities and spend less time wrestling with tools.

Because when you can prototype almost anything, making the right design decisions matters more than ever.

🏢 Enterprise: George Edmonds

Senior UX Designer | Lloyds Banking Group

From Experimentation to Everyday Practice

Experimenting with AI is one thing. Making it part of everyday design practice across a large organisation is another challenge entirely.

George will share what they're learning at Lloyds Banking Group as they explore integrating AI into the design process.

From the realities of working at enterprise scale to the opportunities emerging along the way, he'll explore what it takes to move beyond individual experimentation and towards shared, repeatable ways of working.
