Clay on the Catio 🐈⬛
Join Cera Sera Studio on The Black Cat’s outdoor catio (sadly no cats, happily lots of vibes) for a low-pressure, hands-on pop-up ceramic workshop that’s more chill creative session than rigid class.
You’ll learn the basics of hand-building while making your own ceramic piece—functional, sculptural, cute, chaotic, totally up to you. No experience needed, no perfection expected. Come to play, experiment, and let the clay do its thing.
✨ Choose your project:
A mug or tumbler
A wall altar or candle holder
A small serving or snack tray
A catch-all dish
Each option is beginner-friendly and fully customizable — organic, minimal, ornate, weird, whatever feels right.
Food and drinks will be available for purchase from The Black Cat, so grab a bite, sip something good, and keep sculpting.
For $80, your ticket includes:
✔️ All clay, tools, and guided instruction
✔️ Full creative freedom to shape, decorate, and finish your piece using underglaze or a curated selection of glazes
✔️ Professional glazing and firing by @ceraserastudio (your piece will be ready for pickup later)
✔️ A 3-hour creative hang on The Black Cat’s outdoor catio
✔️ Optional food + drinks available for purchase during the workshop
✔️ 10% of ticket sales will be donated to CHIRLA (chirla.org), because community care extends beyond our workshop table
