Minara Gallery Opening Reception
Last week, we put out an open call for artists across the Greater Boston community creating socially engaged work engaging themes of justice, resistance, liberation, and community. Within days, more than 45 artists shared their work with us. The depth and care in the submissions made selecting the final pieces no easy task.
This exhibition brings together a group of 20 artists whose work invites us to slow down and sit with the realities of our moment while imagining what might come next. Through painting, photography, and mixed media, the gallery holds reflections on struggle, memory, belonging, and collective possibility.
Join us for the opening reception as we celebrate the artists and welcome this new gallery into our space. We’ll begin the evening with a short welcome and brief introductions from the artists, followed by time to move through the exhibition, meet one another, and spend time with the work. Our café will be open throughout the evening.
