Klimatenet x Hyp3rs presents a private screening of Blue Carbon for existing and new members who are interested in climate action, nature conservation, blue carbon ecosystems, mangrove restoration, and practical pathways into climate work.
Klimatenet brings together people who want to learn, contribute, and build real expertise in the climate space. Through events, missions, and project based opportunities, we help people move from interest to action by connecting them with project developers, initiatives, and organisations working on climate and nature.
This screening is part of Klimatenet's climate movie series, which began with The Great Green Wall, a film exploring restoration and resilience across Africa. Blue Carbon continues this journey by focusing on the role of coastal ecosystems in storing carbon, protecting communities, and restoring nature. We will also share the trailer for Beautiful Resistance, the next film in the series, which is currently in production.
Hyp3rs is a platform dedicated to promoting Arts and Cultural events across the country, with a focus on bringing meaningful cinema, music, and cultural experiences to wider audiences. With the screening of Blue Carbon, Hyp3rs uses the power of film as a medium to raise awareness on the need for a change in our environment.
Blue Carbon has previously been shown at Soho House as a private screening. This will be Klimatenet's first private screening of the year, and we welcome anyone who would like to learn more about blue carbon, mangroves, nature conservation, and how to get involved.
During the event, we will also introduce Moonshot, Klimatenet's new platform for people looking to transition into climate work. Moonshot helps individuals discover opportunities, support project developers and climate initiatives directly, build evidence of their contribution, and grow their expertise through learning by doing.
This is an opportunity to watch an important climate film, meet people working and learning in the space, and explore how to take part in practical climate missions.
