The Founders Guild "Decelerator" Weekend
For the first Decelerator of 2026 we are rounding up (ranch style!) the leaders of bay area startup communities. The weekend will be a combination of taking a break from the hustle-bustle of Silicon Valley, AND brainstorming about how to nurture our collective communities for better founder outcomes.

Stay for the evening sunset hike and campfire
or Stay over Saturday night (group tents provided or bring your own)
Rancho San Gregorio is a unique blend of working ranch (since 1839!) with a touch of Silicon Valley: we are creating low cost agricultural robots to help small farms grow healthy food sustainably.
On March 7th we are again opening our doors for a weekend of play:
Enjoy live music around a campfire.
Camp under the stars.
Join us for our morning run on the beach.
Celebrate the end of a full day watching a sunset from our hilltop. 🍷
Learn ranch skills.
Drive a tractor.
Mini-cow snuggles.
Yoga.
Dance in the redwoods.

Tentative Schedule (subject to change)

- 10:00am Arrive/intros
- 11:00-1:00pm Hike the ranch plus reflection and gratitude circle in redwoods
- 1:00-2:00pm Picnic lunch (bring your own + something to share)
- 2:00-3:00 Community workshop; discuss how we can all support the founder ecosystem in 2026
- 3:30-4:45 Yoga (location TBD... redwood grove, barn, hilltop)
- 5:15ish Hike to hilltop to watch sunset (fog permitting)
- 6:30ish Campfire and potluck dinner
- 7:30 "Letting go" ceremony (say good-bye to something weighing you down)
- 8:00 Music by the campfire

7:30-9:00am Drop-in Breakfast: coffee, eggs, bagels
9:30am Head to beach for walk/run
11:30 Back at ranch, wrap up...
