Best friends PJ and Josie are high-school misfits with one goal: lose their virginity to cheerleaders before graduation. After accidentally injuring the school’s star quarterback, they become overnight legends, lie about a summer in juvie, and start a girls’ self-defence club to get close to their crushes.
What follows is surreal, absurd, and unexpectedly moving, a full-force satire of teen movies with a sapphic twist.
Released in 2023, Bottoms has become a Gen-Z queer classic.
