​Join us for an intimate conversation on October 14th at House 831 with Pete MacLeod, whose Calgary company PurposeMed was acquired by Grindr for US$250 million. We'll talk building a health company from Calgary, what it took to get to an exit of that size, and what comes next.

​Pete is the Founder & COO of PurposeMed, the parent company of Freddie, a telehealth provider focused on sexual health and HIV prevention. The Grindr deal is one of the biggest outcomes the Calgary tech community has seen in a while, and it's Grindr's first major acquisition since the app launched in 2009.
