AI Up Talk: The AI Words You're Already Getting Wrong
Thursday 19th November: 12pm-1pm
This session is for members only!
ABOUT THE EVENT
You've said "agentic" in a client meeting. Did you actually know what it meant, or did you just nod along and hope nobody asked a follow-up question?
Half the AI vocabulary going round right now is either borrowed from somewhere else and quietly redefined (diffusion), brand new and badly explained (LLM), or a term nobody agreed on that somehow stuck anyway (AI vampire, anyone?).
Kat Knocker has spent the last year building an AI-powered consultancy from the inside, and along the way, quietly collecting a glossary of the words the industry throws around without ever pausing to define. In this session, she'll give you sharp, practical definitions for the terms you're hearing daily, backed by real examples from her own client work, so you can use them properly in your next meeting instead of nodding along.
What you'll walk away with:
Clear, working definitions for the AI terms that get thrown around loosest (LLM, diffusion, agentic, and more)
Real examples of what these actually look like in practice, not textbook theory
The confidence to call out when a term's being misused (kindly, obviously)
Kat's also been building something on the side called TheGlossary.ai, where she's been collecting all of this as it evolves. She'll give you a peek.
ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Kat Knocker is a business consultant and fractional operator who has worked with start-ups and scale-ups including Tails.com, Graze.com and innocent Drinks.
She built The Fwd Forge by turning her existing consultancy brand into a live glossary for AI terminology, using Claude to shape the site's logic and Lovable to build it. She holds a PGDip in AI for Business from Oxford and is currently building a scanning function to keep the glossary current as new terms emerge.
