​The Japanese government and the Tokyo Stock Exchange have set a goal of achieving 30% women executives. Yet the current figure for Prime-listed companies remains at just 18%, with internal promotion in particular posing a major challenge. In this workshop, Naomi Koshi, CEO of OnBoard Inc. and attorney at Miura & Partners, will deliver a concise overview of the latest trends and investor perspectives, highlighting both the realities and solutions for advancing women into executive roles. Participants will explore how to identify and appoint outside directors as well as concrete strategies to cultivate future executives from within. Practical insights will be shared on how to position diversity not only as a compliance requirement but as a core driver of corporate growth.
