Why We Create, and Don’t Create
A conversation on the origins of creativity, why it matters, and what’s at stake as technology reshapes how we create.
In conversation with David “BBQ Dave” Sheinkopf, Co-Founder and Creative Director of Smooth Technology, and Wilson Brown, Creative Director at Antfood, exploring the origins of creativity, what makes us uniquely creative, and the forces shaping its future.
Their thesis: creativity is how humans solve problems we’ve never seen before. It’s how we learn, grow, express individuality, build status, and make meaning. It is, fundamentally, who we are.
Together, they’ll unpack what creativity means in an increasingly automated world, and how we can protect, challenge, and expand the ways we create.
