Recruitment has the power to transform careers, workplaces, and whole industries. Yet too often, bias and barriers limit Black talent from progressing into positions of influence. This event will bring together leading voices in recruitment to examine how we can stand firm against bias, amplify Black pride in the workplace, and create lasting equity across the hiring industry.
What to expect
Our panel, facilitated by Eli Dingwall - Talent Development Lead, La Fosse - will explore a range of topics:
Standing firm in power - ensuring Black talent isn’t just hired, but positioned to lead and influence
Representation with pride - moving beyond quotas to embed visibility in employer branding and leadership
Bias-free recruitment - practical steps recruiters can take to tackle bias in hiring
Retention and progression - building workplaces that foster belonging and leadership pathways
Accountability and impact - using data and transparency to drive measurable progress
