​It struck me recently how infrequently I hear people openly sharing about the times that nearly broke them, and how they kept going, despite sometimes insurmountable odds.

Some of you may not know this, but at 23, I was homeless due to DV. I then managed to push through this and built my first business and scaled it to 500k ARR. Believe it or not, I didn't even know I was a founder until 2 years in!

Again, years later, closing that same business was a lonely ordeal. Not many people talk about these experiences. And yet, they are the ones that shape us and usually forge us into something almost unbreakable moving forward.

In my experience, the people who can do this almost always go on to build incredible things.

Sometimes, all you need to hear during these times is that you will get through it and that you are not alone. But that is rare.

So I decided we need to create more spaces for this to exist.
