About Event

A small group of successful entrepreneurs and investors are gathering for an off-the-record evening to cut through the noise around entrepreneur-focused tax. EMI, EIS, SEIS, VCT, BADR - the schemes exist, the reliefs are real, but most founders never use them to full effect. This evening is about changing that.

Our expert panel will go beyond the textbook to explore how the smartest founders and investors are structuring their businesses and exits. We’ll examine what HMRC actually scrutinises, where the genuine reliefs lie, and what experienced advisers know that most people don’t. Expect candid conversation about the strategies that work, the misconceptions that cost founders money, and what’s changing in the current political and fiscal environment.

We’ll ask the central questions every entrepreneur should have answered: Which schemes genuinely apply to your business? What does a well-structured EMI or EIS look like in practice? How are BADR and VCT being used by the most sophisticated investors - and what are the pitfalls most people walk straight into?
