​Connecting Families Post-16: Exploring University

​Parents and carers of post-16 young people - Join us for a session to explore university as a future pathway for your young person!

​We’re excited to invite you to an online session designed for parents and carers of vision impaired young people aged 16 and over. In this session, we’ll be exploring university as a post-16 pathway and sharing advice to help you support your young person through this process.

​We’ll be joined by RSBC's Futures Specialist, Mark, who will share his knowledge on supporting young people with vision impairments into university. You’ll also hear from a young person with a vision impairment who attended university and a parent of a young person at university, sharing their experiences and valuable insights.

​This friendly online session will cover:

• ​Exploring university as a future pathway

• ​Is your young person considering university? Is this right for them?

• ​Supporting young people with the process

• ​A chance to connect with other parents and carers
