Open State Workshop
Most of us spend our days in our heads - planning, problem-solving, scrolling, producing. And somewhere along the way, we’ve gotten disconnected from the part of us that actually knows how to create, play, and feel fully alive.
The Open State Workshop is a 2-hour experience that changes where you create from. (www.openstate.ca)
It starts in the body. Using wireless headphones and a curated soundtrack, you’ll be guided through a movement and music experience designed to regulate your nervous system, release tension, and drop you into a state of openness that your thinking brain can’t manufacture. No dance experience needed. Everyone’s in it together.
Then, from that buzzing, alive, wide-open place, we guide you through a creative workshop designed to tap into the ideas, instincts, and creative impulses that live underneath all that thinking. This isn’t a brainstorm. It’s what happens when you give yourself permission to create from a completely different place.
You’ll leave feeling lighter, more energized, more connected to yourself and the people in the room - and probably surprised by what came through when you weren’t trying so hard.

WHAT TO KNOW BEFORE YOU COME

Bring a water bottle and a yoga mat or towel. We provide wireless headphones, a journal, pens and everything else.
No movement or dance experience needed. If you can breathe and sway, you’re ready. The entire experience is guided and fully adaptable to your body.
Come solo or bring a friend. Many people come alone - it’s one of the best ways to experience it. If you bring someone, make sure they grab their own ticket.
WHO THIS IS FOR
Anyone who feels stuck in their head and curious about what happens when they get out of it. Creatives, founders, leaders, humans who are overdue for something that feels different. You don’t need to know what Open State is. You just need to be willing to show up and try something new.
