The Emerging Technologies Olympiad (ETO) Eastern Conference 2026 is a two-day conference, project showcase, and gathering in Hong Kong. It brings together students, researchers, educators and industry leaders to explore how emerging technologies can move from ideas into real-world applications.
Organised by Königsberger Bridges Institute Hong Kong, ETO Eastern creates a space to explore the technologies changing how we build, work, learn, communicate, and solve real-world problems.

Across two days, ETO Eastern will combine student project presentations with expert conversations, workshops, live demonstrations, networking, and industry engagement.

Königsberger Bridges Institute Hong Kong
Inspired by the Seven Bridges of Königsberg, where applied STEM skills proved a problem unsolvable, Königsberger Bridges Institute (KBI) is dedicated to upskilling youths through STEM experiences to prepare humanity for unknown unknowns. KBI organizes emerging technologies olympiads globally in various countries, inviting next generations to apply first principles problem solving with design thinking for real-world challenges.
Königsberger Bridges Institute Hong Kong is the Hong Kong chapter of KBI. We bring KBI’s global mission into the local ecosystem by creating programmes, partnerships, and events that connect students with educators, researchers, companies, founders, and emerging-technology communities across Hong Kong and beyond.
