🌍 How is the EU ETS shaping climate action in your sector or community?

Join us online on 19 March, as Mette Quinn, Deputy Director for Carbon Markets and Clean Mobility at the European Commission, delivers an exclusive policy briefing for the Pact Community on the EU Emissions Trading System (EU ETS). Launched in 2005, the EU ETS is the world’s first carbon market and remains one of the largest globally. It is a key driver of the EU’s climate action, putting a price on carbon to encourage cleaner production and energy use. By gradually lowering the emissions cap, it has helped cut greenhouse gas emissions in power and industry, while generating revenues that support investments in the climate and energy transition. A separate system, ETS2, starting in 2027, will price emissions from fuels used in buildings, road transport and small industry

Don’t miss this opportunity to gain first-hand insights from the European Commission.

🗓️ 19 March. 12:00-13:00 CET I💻Online
