Net Zero, Full Send: Founder Pickleball Tournament
A Climate Tech Week pickleball tournament for founders, builders, and operators!
We’re helping close out Climate Tech Week with something a little different: a private rooftop pickleball tournament for founders, climate builders, startup operators, and community leaders who are working on big problems, and still willing to absolutely overcommit to a casual game of pickleball.
Hosted on the rooftop of our building’s parking garage, this event brings together a curated group of founders for a one-of-a-kind Friday activation above the city. It is part competition, part networking, part Climate Week community moment, and part proof that founder events do not always need a panel, a ballroom, or a sad folding chair.
Capacity is limited to 50 founders, and the winning team will take home a heafty prize!
Why Climate Tech Week?
Climate Tech Week is about bringing together the people building, funding, hiring, and supporting a more sustainable future. This event is designed to create space for those conversations in a more active, memorable, and low-lift way.
Instead of another sit-down mixer, we’re taking the community outside, keeping the format simple, and creating a founder-first environment where people can connect naturally while competing on the court.
The climate-friendly spin: rooftop setting, local community, shared space, minimal event buildout, no giant ballroom production, and an easy excuse to carpool, walk, bike, scooter, or take transit if you’re nearby.
What to Expect
A private rooftop pickleball tournament
Curated founder and climate tech networking
A unique parking garage rooftop court experience
A fun Friday close to Climate Tech Week
Connections with founders, operators, builders, and hiring teams

Who Should Attend
This event is designed for founders, startup leaders, climate tech builders, operators, and community members working across climate, sustainability, energy, transportation, agriculture, circular economy, infrastructure, software, AI, and related industries.
You do not need to be a pickleball pro. You just need to be up for a little friendly competition and a lot of good conversation.
Space is intentionally limited.
Tournament Format
Founders will be grouped into teams for a friendly tournament format. Whether you are a regular player or someone whose pickleball strategy is mostly “swing and pray,” you are welcome.
The goal is to compete, connect, and have fun, with just enough prize money on the line to make people suddenly remember they are very competitive.
Important Notes
Capacity is limited to 50 founders.
All registrations are subject to approval.
Players should wear comfortable athletic shoes and clothes they can move in.
Sun protection is highly recommended.
