About Event

In town for HumanX? Join us for an evening with the teams building the open-source AI stack — from frontier models to inference and agents to production infrastructure.

Hear from Qwen, MuleRun, Novita AI, Modal and Doubleword as they share what it takes to go from open models to real-world deployment. Then stick around for drinks and conversations with AI builders, founder, and engineers.

Featuring

Qwen — Qwen is one of the world’s most popular open-source model families, developed by Alibaba Cloud for enterprises and developers, delivering leading performance across language, multimodal understanding, coding, reasoning, speech, and image and video generation.

Novita AI — Novita is an AI & agent cloud platform helping builders serve and scale models and agentic workloads with strong performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.

Modal — Modal is a high-performance AI infrastructure platform that helps developers run inference, training, batch jobs, and sandboxes with fast autoscaling and a Python-native developer experience.

MuleRun — MuleRun is an AI agent platform that provides always-on digital workers capable of acting across channels, learning over time, and integrating trusted skills, data, and enterprise controls.

Doubleword — Doubleword is an AI inference platform that helps enterprises run large-scale, lower-cost, self-hosted or managed model inference for workloads like async agents, batch processing, and data pipelines.

SGLang — SGLang is a high-performance serving framework for large language models and vision-language models, designed to deliver low-latency and high-throughput inference across setups ranging from a single GPU to large distributed clusters.

Agenda

6:00 PM — Doors open & networking

6:30 PM — Talks & demos

8:00 PM — Open networking

Speakers

Nishant Agrawal - Alibaba Cloud

Nishant is a Solutions Architect at Alibaba Cloud and works closely with the Qwen ecosystem and will discuss the rapid evolution of frontier open models, where they excel today, and what builders should understand when bringing them into production.

Junyu Huang - Novita AI

Junyu Huang is COO at Novita AI, where he works across product, go-to-market, partnerships, and operations to help developers deploy and scale model inference and agent workloads. Previously, he co-founded Toma.com (backed by Y Combinator and a16z) and worked on the AI infrastructure team at Scale AI.

Meryem Arik - Doubleword

Meryem is the CEO of Doubleword, an AI inference company focused on delivering the cheapest intelligence per dollar for high-volume workloads. She works closely with teams deploying frontier models and will share insights on inference optimization, model strategy, and scaling modern AI systems.

Jacob Si - MuleRun

Jacob is the Growth Manager at MuleRun, focusing on AI agent platform adoption and ecosystem expansion. He previously led strategic partnerships at Rodin 3D AI (backed by Sequoia), overseeing collaborations across e-commerce, AI inferences, and gaming verticals.

Community Partner

Entrepreneurs First (EF) turns exceptional individuals into funded founders. Some might have an early idea, others may need a cofounder. What matters is their potential. We back these founders first, then give them a bridge to Silicon Valley. To date, their companies are worth > $16B.
