About Event

Claude Code Masterclass for Tech Professionals

A 2-hour, hands-on workshop showing you how to replace scattered AI experiments with one connected, high-output system — from research and live data to insights and shipping features, all in Claude Code.

2 hrs TOTAL RUNTIME | 4 HANDS-ON LABS | 0 LINES OF CODE NEEDED

What we'll cover

OPENING (30 MIN)

The big picture: why Claude Code changes how you work

Live demo of a complete workflow — from meeting notes to Jira tickets to Slack summary. We'll show you the end state before you build toward it, and explain how outputs from one category feed into the next.

Lab 1 — Research & competitive intelligence (20 min)

Pick a real question from your work — a competitor, vendor decision, or market. Claude aggregates sources, builds a comparison matrix, and produces a structured brief with a recommendation.

  • "This used to take me half a day — done in under 10 minutes"

  • Key skill: prompt structure for synthesis tasks — how to ask for comparison and request a recommendation with reasoning.

Lab 2 — MCP: connecting Claude to live data (20 min)

Set up a GitHub or Notion MCP server in VS Code. Query it in plain English — fetch repo stats, list issues, pull structured notes — and pipe results into a formatted report. No API docs required.

  • "What are the most-commented open issues this month? -> live structured answer"

  • Key skill: what MCP is, how to configure a server, and how to chain MCP tool calls with Claude reasoning.

10-minute break

Lab 3 — Data analysis & insights (25 min)

Upload any spreadsheet — budget, sales, engineering metrics. Ask questions in plain English, spot trends, and generate a stakeholder-ready summary with chart output. Bring your own file or use a sample.

  • "Most people have never talked to their data like this"

  • Key skill: natural language querying of structured data; follow-up questions to refine analysis; generating chart code.

Lab 4 — Vibe engineering: build the feature (25 min)

Pick any GitHub repo. Describe a feature in plain English. Claude explores the codebase, proposes an implementation plan, writes the code, and handles edge cases — you review and guide, no writing required.

  • Watch Claude read an unfamiliar codebase and produce working code without you writing a single line.

  • Key skill: giving Claude the right context; when to accept vs. redirect; prompt patterns for features vs. bug fixes.

CLOSING (5 MIN)

Wiring it all together

How the labs connect into one unified system. You leave with a one-page workflow map and a 1-week practice plan.

What to bring

  • A real research question or competitor name

  • Any .csv or .xlsx file (anonymize if needed)

  • A GitHub repo to extend — or pick from our list

  • Claude.ai account

  • VS Code installed

What you leave with

  • A one-page workflow map to use as a daily reference

  • Prompt habits for research, data, and feature work

  • Real outputs built from your own work during the session

  • A 1-week practice plan with concrete next steps

Who this is for: PMs, analysts, ops leads, and any tech professional who wants a reliable AI-powered workflow. No coding experience needed — if you've used Claude or ChatGPT, you're ready.
