Climate + Equity: Two Crises, One Solution.
Panel: Climate Without Equity? No Future.
The climate crisis is not gender-neutral. Women and men experience its impacts differently—through unequal access to resources, invisible care burdens, and power gaps in decision-making. But inequality doesn’t just make people more vulnerable, it holds back the bold, systemic solutions we urgently need.
In this 45-minute conversation, Fatou N’Diaye, founder of Equity Nation (moderator) brings together leaders who are turning advocacy into action:
Deshi Singh – Co-Founder & Board Chair of the Chamber of Mothers, a national coalition fighting for paid leave, childcare, and maternal health, and Board Member of the Coalition Against Trafficking in Women.
Christian Vanizette – Co-Founder of chilli and Co-Lead of the Climate Community of Practice at the Obama Foundation, connecting innovators worldwide to accelerate climate solutions.
Abi Adamson – Managing Director of The Culture Partnership, helping global organizations move beyond commitments to measurable equity and inclusion impact.
Together, they’ll cut through the noise to answer:
How can integrating equity make climate strategies more effective and resilient?
What concrete steps can companies, communities, and policymakers take now?
Where are the opportunities for collaboration across advocacy, business, and civil society?
This session isn’t just about ideas, it’s about action. Participants will leave with clear takeaways, real-world examples, and pathways to get involved in building a climate future where equity is the engine, not the afterthought.
