About Event

ABOUT THE SESSION

José Fernando Andrade -INNATIVE LAB explores Brain-Computer Interfaces (BCI) as creative and relational media rather than mere tools for command. Drawing on projects like Sensing Projections and Neural Paradises, he examines the synergy between EEG, immersive audiovisuals, and embodied movement. Beyond artistic research, Andrade shares how neurofeedback workshops for companies and institutions can enhance intuition, health, and collective dynamics. Ultimately, the session questions how neurotechnology can expand perception and shift our design of interactive spaces from interfaces we use to environments we inhabit.

BIO

Founder of INNATIVE LAB in Berlin, José Fernando Andrade blends performing arts and spatial design to explore the synergy between neuroscience and immersive environments. He reimagines BCIs and responsive media not as analytical tools, but as generative materials that allow physical and cognitive states to shape real-time experiences. Centered on embodied perception and collective brain synchronization, his work is regularly showcased at innovation, art, tech, health and design events.
