BioFi Deep Dive with Sacred Contract: Discussion on using legal structures to liberate the land

​Please join us for a BioFi Deep Dive with Jennifer Menke of Sacred Contract. We will discuss the legal structure the Sacred Contract team has been using to liberate land and support bioregional regeneration. Sacred Contract's vision is to, "Fundamentally shift our cultural and legal relationship with the Earth by liberating ourselves and the earth from an ownership relationship to a sacred relationship."

​Sacred Contract recently supported a land title transfer of Pyramid Mountain making it 'the first mountain to own itself,' governed by an Indigenous-led council. More about this project here.

​And the Sacred Contract team has more land liberation projects underway. We will hear about these, learn from Jennifer on how this process has been unfolding, how she brings her deep systems design expertise to the work, and how this work is weaving together with the development of Bioregional Financing Facilities, and more!
