Land Keepers Reader brings together writers, activists, journalists, farmers, and ecologists from Lebanon, Syria, and Palestine to document stories of green resistance across the Jabal al-Sheikh ecological zone, spanning South Lebanon, the occupied Jawlan, and the occupied Galilee. Through essays, research, and personal testimonies, the publication examines how communities remain rooted in place while confronting ecocide, settler colonialism, environmental orientalism, and greenwashing. Published as part of EcoRove's broader multidisciplinary project—which also includes documentary film, tapestry, sculpture, and field research—the reader amplifies indigenous ecological knowledge and imagines regenerative futures grounded in collective stewardship.
