AAS 247 Star Party

​Join the AAS Education Committee and Shadow the Scientists, alongside local amateur and professional astronomers, for a free evening of exploration under the night sky!

The AAS 247 Star Party invites the community to Heritage & Science Park in downtown Phoenix for hands-on astronomy experiences and live observing. Guests will enjoy telescope views of the Sun, planets, and other celestial objects, interactive demonstrations led by astronomers, and a special Zoom tour of the Gemini South Observatory. Free NASA swag will also be available while supplies last ✨🔭

This family-friendly event is free and open to all. Whether you’re a seasoned stargazer or just curious about the universe, come spend the evening discovering the wonders of the cosmos.
