Design Intentionality in the Age of AI: Figma Lecture @ Waterloo
Calling all Waterloo students! Join us for an in-person Figma workshop led by Miguel "Miggi" Cardona, Figma's Designer Advocate for Education.
In this interactive session, a mix of lecture and workshop content. We’ll explore how Al is shaping design-what it makes easier, what it challenges, and how we can stay creative and authentic in the process.
Students will get hands-on time experimenting with Figma's tools while reflecting on strategies for human-centered design in an Al-driven world. Whether you're curious about Al, design, or just looking to expand your skills, this workshop is open to all Waterloo students—no prior experience needed.
Be sure to bring your laptop and charger so you can participate in the hands-on portions of the session. The first 100 attendees will win a free Figma sweatshirt!
