AI Agents in Action
AI Agentic Agents are poised to fundamentally transform public sector operations. These intelligent, autonomous systems use large language models and other tools to complete complex, multi-step tasks—effectively streamlining processes and unlocking new levels of automation.
This session will move beyond theoretical concepts and introduce participants to Agentic Agents through an interactive workshop led by Ryan Mills from Google.
The focus is on direct experience:
Understand the Agentic Agent framework and its applications in government (e.g., policy analysis, complex case management, automating internal workflows).
Engage with the tools in a guided setting to see how they can be applied to real-world challenges.
Participants will leave with a clear, practical understanding of how to apply AI agents to local contexts, what opportunities they open for service delivery, and how to approach their implementation with an eye toward efficiency, security, and ethical governance.
This session is designed for a range of backgrounds, offering both conceptual grounding and hands-on exposure to practical use.
Ryan Mills is a passionate technologist and Cloud Architect at Google Cloud. With over 20 years of experience, Ryan helps organisations, including public sector agencies, apply advanced cloud and AI solutions to solve complex challenges. Ryan brings deep, practical expertise in the responsible deployment of emerging technologies, specialising in using Agentic Agents to drive innovation, enhance operational efficiency, and enable sophisticated process automation across digital infrastructure.
