Workflow: Short Story to Chapter Book

​These workflow sessions are an opportunity for you to get an up close look at one of our teachers' processes. In this session, Manon Doucet with demonstrate how to transform a short story into a chapter book with Sudowrite.

You'll learn how to use Sudowrite's suite of tools to expand your story systematically. We'll cover using Chat for character development, the Write button for scene expansion, and Describe for enriching your world-building. You'll see how to identify expansion opportunities in your original story and develop them into fully-realized narrative threads.

By the end of the session, you'll have a clear roadmap for expanding your short story into a 20,000-30,000 word chapter book, along with practical techniques for maintaining consistency and pacing throughout the expansion process.
