Wayfinding our Relationality in Times of Complexity (Part 2 COhere Constellation)

​Drawing on principles and processes from Indigenous knowledge systems, regenerative development, and complexity science, Ian Sanderson (Mohawk Nation, Turtle Clan) will facilitate an interactive experience that supports us in languaging and locating our personal experiences from Part 1 within the relational whole of COhere, and beyond.

​It's possible that there has never been a time more critical than now that we remember that all life is a complex network of nested wholes that are comprised of dynamic relational processes. While that may sound very scientific, it is perhaps the most sacred thing of all, and it's a reality that modern humans need to come back to, and re-learn what it is to navigate these complexities with right relationship.

​So often we see the world as a series of problems, rather than seeing it in terms of potential. Potential looks forward. Problem-solving looks backward. Potential can be realized, whereas problems can only be solved. Potential looks to what could be, rather than simply maintaining a precarious balance of what is. And In every crisis, there is always great potential.

​Here's just a sample of some questions we'll explore this session: How do we move from objects to relationships? From structures to processes? How do our identities relate to others within the relational system we're enmeshed in? How do we navigate the complexity of the relational web? How do we begin imagining a future state the whole could evolve into? What are the capacities and capabilities that we need to grow that will enable us to be who we're disappointed we're not?

Note: This will build upon the Part 1 COhere Constellation activity on Friday. While not required, attending both is highly encouraged!
