Software Teardown: Agents for the Real World
AI agents are all anyone talks about, but once you leave the world of tech, the usability nosedives dramatically. Correctness matters more than cleverness, edge cases dominate, and humans cannot fully leave the loop.
This conversation will focus on what it actually takes to build and use AI agents in real-world domains. We’ll dig into where agents work today, where they fall apart, and which design patterns seem to survive contact with production systems.
Hosted by Tomasz Tunguz (Founder, Theory Ventures; ex- MD Redpoint), this panel brings together builders who are working on agentic systems beyond the hype cycle — and want to talk honestly about constraints, failures, and the latest problems.
The event will include time to grab a bite and a drink and mingle with like-minded enthusiasts before and after the panel.
Software Teardown is a technical series designed to do exactly that: take apart real systems, decisions, and tradeoffs with people who are actually building them.
