Digi-Equal Africa connects African women in tech with opportunities to mentor, speak, and serve as role models for women and girls aspiring to enter the tech sector. On 22nd October, we will launch Digi-Equal Africa virtually at 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM UK Time.

Speakers:
1. July Andraous - Managing Partner & Co-Founder of Jambaar Cap

  • Managing Partner and Co-Founder of Jambaar Capital, a Dakar-based venture capital fund investing in impact-driven tech startups across Francophone Africa and beyond.

  • A graduate of VC Lab and recipient of the African Development Bank Emerging Fund Manager Fellowship.

  • July has built a strong track record as an angel investor and is passionate about catalyzing inclusive growth through entrepreneurship. She actively champions gender diversity in tech and frequently speaks at leading industry events across Africa and globally. Prior to launching Jambaar, she built her career in capital markets across trading, equity sales, and research roles at tier-1 global banks in Paris, bringing a rigorous financial lens to early-stage investing.

2. Faith Oyepeju

  • Strategic communications leader and social entrepreneur with over 14 years of experience across media, technology, and community impact. She began her career shaping brand narratives on productions such as Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? Nigeria, Who Wants To Be Rich? Ghana, and Project Fame West Africa.

  • In 2019, she transitioned into Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) and IT audit, later founding Elenasy, an HRTech and EDtech social enterprise tackling digital exclusion through accessible tech-skills training and placement.  She is also an ISO/IEC 27001:2022 Lead Auditor, consolidating her career in cybersecurity.

  • Now based in the UK and transitioning Elenasy into Elenasy CIC, Faith brings together her expertise in communications, strategy, and technology to empower underrepresented communities and drive inclusive innovation.
