About Event

Amsterdam Data Design Den is back! Our community meetup celebrating where data meets design and storytelling returns for its second edition.

This time, we’re thrilled to welcome Nadieh Bremer (Visual Cinnamon) as our keynote speaker.
Nadieh is an award-winning data visualization designer whose work transforms complex datasets into stunning, thought-provoking visual stories. With a background in astronomy and data science, she brings both rigor and artistry to her craft—creating everything from interactive experiences to large-scale data art. Her projects have been featured worldwide, earning top honors such as Best Individual at the Information Is Beautiful Awards.

We are also excited to announce Jeroen Krul, Lead Creative from the design agency Clarify, an agency that specialises in information design. Their mission is to transform complex information into clear, actionable stories by logically bringing together content, design, and technology. They aim to make the world more understandable for their clients and their audiences.

Beyond the talks, we’ll also be hosting a mini data-driven installation and exhibition called the Data Lab. Come and check out this unique showcase where we’ll explore how data can be transformed into immersive art with a low-fi touch!

What makes us different?
No fees, no memberships—just a gathering of curious minds exploring how design makes sense of our data-driven world. Whether you’re a professional designer, a student, or simply data-curious, you’ll fit right in.

Come for insightful talks, stay for drinks and connections. Ideas flow freely, collaborations spark naturally, and everyone leaves inspired.
