About Event

Join us for the first of three hands-on workshops hosted by Tokyo Student Network and Tokyo AI, all building up to a one-day 東京 Sprint hackathon in May 2026 where you can put your skills to the test and compete to win!

Led by Juyeong Ji, AI DevX at Google DeepMind

In this workshop, you will explore the exciting shift from manual tasks to using AI agents to handle the heavy lifting—a new approach to building often called "vibe coding." You will get hands-on experience with a suite of beginner-friendly tools designed to turn your ideas into reality:

- Google AI Studio & Antigravity: Use these to design "autonomous workflows" where AI handles a sequence of tasks independently.
- Jules: Learn how to set up tasks that run in the background so you can focus on other things.
- Gemini CLI: Experience how simple text commands can trigger powerful automations right from your computer.

By the end of this session, you’ll understand how to "architect" your own AI assistants. You’ll leave with the skills to take a creative concept and turn it into a working, scalable project faster than ever before.

Before you come, please:

  • Connect your Gmail on Google AI Studio & Jules

  • Install Antigravity & Gemini CLI and connect your Gmail

Thursday, 5 March at Code Chrysalis

18:30 Doors Open | 19:00 Workshop Starts | 20:00 Networking

Open to students of any major in Tokyo

Why Come?

TSN and TAI are partnering with leading tech companies such as Google, OpenAI, and Anthropic to give students real exposure to industry tools and workflows before the May 2026 東京 Sprint.

The hackathon is team-based: think 5–6 people with complementary roles to tackle a problem with real-world multi-disciplinary team collaboration!

Every background has a place on a winning team. Whether you're studying engineering, design, business, or anything else, there's a role for you.

Come to all three workshops, build your toolkit, meet your future teammates, and show up to the hackathon ready to build and win.
