Founder Speed Meet
Founder Speed Meet ✦ Founders & Co-founders Only
Step into a room alive with possibility.
At 6pm, the doors open, founders arrive, the music hums, people say their first hello's, it's homely. That springtime energy hits. You’re stepping into a space where everyone in the room gets what it means to build.
By 6:30pm, the buzz is in full swing. We kick off speed networking: quick rounds, real conversations, and no wasted minutes. You’ll talk to more founders in one hour than most people manage in months. Connections that come easily.
And when the speed meet and greet ends? The real connection begins; to follow up with a few of those founders you clicked with. That’s when the magic really happens – the ones you connected with most stick around, conversations and a few laughs occur, and new friendships and collaborations start to form.
Why This Night Matters
• It’s curated. This isn’t a free-for-all. We’re intentional about who’s in the room; builders, creatives, entrepreneurs, operators; people shaping Melbourne’s and Australia’s startup scene.
• It’s fast-paced and fun. No endless pitches or business-card spam. Just sharp, energising conversations designed for momentum.
• It’s community. A taste of what Homely is building: co-working days, founder dinners, retreats
The Flow • 6:00pm: Arrivals, drinks, snacks, light chats, the room warms up. • 6:30pm: Speed networking begins (1 hour of high-energy rotations). • 7:30pm onwards: Stay back, reconnect, and carry on the conversations that matter most.
Who You’ll Meet Founders who’ve launched. Founders still building. Solo operators. Creatives scaling big ideas. Investors and advisors curious to meet the next wave.
People who don’t just talk about what they’re building – they’re in it, just like you.
✨ This isn’t just another event on your calendar. It’s a chance to plug into Melbourne’s most energising founder community and leave with more than just new contacts – you’ll leave with people who could change your journey.
Spots are intentionally limited. Hosted at one of our homes! Max 60 people.
