Get Shit Done Session: Outdoor Events

​Every other month, we host a "Get Shit Done" session where we pick a project, topic, or idea and work collaboratively to move it forward.

​This month's session is focused on our upcoming season of outdoor events at local parks, streets, and more. We'll be using this time to:

• ​Discuss upcoming events

  • ​31st Ave Open Street, Free Queer Book Fair, Astoria Farmers' Market, Community Cookout Block Parties

• ​Brainstorm craft ideas for outdoor events

  • ​Think limited access to water, all-ages friendly, exposure to wind/sun, 5–20 minute timeframe

• ​Test out our collective craft ideas

  • ​Think of it like a craft test kitchen!

​This session is FREE to attend, but please RSVP so we can plan accordingly.

​LOCATION

​Our studio is located at 21-07 41st Avenue. When you get to the building, please scan the Alpha Touch QR code sign pasted on the door and find The Collaboratory in the directory to be buzzed in.

Once inside, you can take the elevator to Floor 2 and find us in Studio #213.

​MASK REMINDER

​The Collaboratory is a *Masks Required* space. 😷 We also run two air filters/purifiers during our gatherings. If you don't arrive with a mask, don't worry—we'll have them available at the door.
