This month
We'll show how to go from idea to shipped Apify Actor in a single evening: using Codex and the Apify MCP to prototype a workflow, then turning that workflow into a real, publishable Actor.
How the evening works
We'll start with a quick overview of Codex and get everyone set up with the Apify MCP inside Codex.
Then we'll walk through a couple of examples of running Apify workflows through Codex in plain English - chaining Actors, pulling data, shaping outputs.
Finally, we'll ask Codex to turn that workflow into a real Apify Actor ready to publish to the Apify Store.
You'll leave with a working Actor in your Apify account and a repeatable pattern for building more.

Requirements
Laptop running macOS or Windows (the Codex desktop app doesn't support Linux)
ChatGPT subscription - Plus ($20/mo) at minimum; Pro or higher recommended for headroom. Codex is included, no separate Codex subscription needed.
Codex desktop app installed and signed in before you arrive - download at developers.openai.com/codex/app
Apify account (free or higher) with enough platform usage left in the month to run workflows live
Node.js installed
Some comfort with the terminal - you don't need to be an expert, but you'll be running commands during the build
