Deep Dive: Plugins for Fictional Illicit Substances, Activities, Etc.

​Your characters need a vice. Maybe it's a glowing street drug that doesn't exist yet, or a smuggling ring with its own economy, or a ritual that would get someone very arrested. The problem is, the best fictional underworlds are built on specifics—and specifics take work.

​In this 4/20-inspired session, we'll explore Plugins that help you build the seedy side of your story world. We'll cover tools for inventing fictional substances, criminal organizations, black markets, and the kind of trouble that makes characters interesting.

​Students will leave with Plugins for adding gritty, believable detail to their darker storylines—no firsthand research necessary.
