Karakusevic Carson Architects are known for shaping neighbourhoods through community-driven, socially ambitious housing projects. In this Open Studio, students and graduates are invited to explore how meaningful engagement, long-term thinking and public collaboration shape award-winning design.
Attendees will have the chance to present their work, receive thoughtful feedback, and ask questions about working in public-sector-led architecture and masterplanning. You’ll also be able to network with the team and learn more about their approach to building better cities.
About Karakusevic Carson Architects
Karakusevic Carson Architects are Architects and Urban Designers at the forefront of social housing design and major civic projects in the UK and internationally. We work almost exclusively with local councils and city halls, designing homes and neighbourhoods that transform communities, collaborating with residents to produce exceptional housing and urban strategies that are unique to each site.
How It Works
An Open Studio typically involves an introductory presentation by our host practice and meeting the team members and mentors who will be providing feedback to you on your applications.
Participants will be split into small groups to ask specific questions about their CVs and portfolios as well as engage with their peers.
We require attendees to bring physical portfolios for richer discussions. Each person will receive feedback for up to 15 minutes.
