About Event

The Graduate College invites you to participate in a communication workshop that provides hands-on training. You will learn how to narrate the scientific aspects of a research project or lab group in plain language, describing what it is and what it does, so everyone can understand, regardless of their background.

Creative Science Alliance is partnering with the Grad College to conduct this workshop that reimagines science communication as an exercise in subtraction, not simplification. Participants will leave with a one-page research zine crafted with the help of beautiful zine-making kits designed by local Calgary artist Nicole Gruszecki.

Sign up today as spots are limited. All supplies and lunch are complimentary.
