ABOUT

This hands-on workshop will explore how filmmakers can use generative AI as part of the creative process, from developing an idea and storyboarding it to directing shots, creating sound, and editing a final sequence.

WHAT TO EXPECT

AI doesn’t replace the filmmaking process. It plugs into almost every stage of it, helping filmmakers think, visualise, produce, manipulate, and finish faster.

What you’ll learn

  1. Make ideas AI-filmable
Know what generative video is good at, where it breaks, and how to shape concepts around it.

  2. Storyboard for AI
Turn an idea into shots, visual beats, characters, environments, and transitions you can actually generate.

  3. Prompt like a director
Use filmmaking language to control framing, camera movement, lighting, action, and pacing.

  4. Create consistency across shots
Keep characters, environments, and visual style coherent across multiple generations.

  5. Turn generations into a finished scene
Add movement, voice, sound design, music, and editing to make AI visuals feel cinematic.

You’ll leave with a repeatable workflow:
Idea → Storyboard → Generate → Direct → Sound → Edit → Final
