About Event

Artificial intelligence is advancing rapidly, creating extraordinary opportunities to transform how we live, work, and interact with the world. But beyond what AI can do, an equally important question is what AI should do and how we can ensure its progress benefits society.

AI for Greater Good brings together people who are passionate about building a future where technological innovation translates into meaningful, real-world impact. Through conversations, knowledge sharing, and interdisciplinary collaboration, we will explore five interconnected areas shaping the future of AI:

1. RSI — Recursive Self-Improvement

RSI has a broad definition and a long history. For this challenge, we want to understand how you define RSI and why. How would you approach building a system that continuously learns, evaluates, and improves itself?

2. Technology Safety — Quantum Vulnerabilities

Earlier this year, Google published “Securing Elliptic Curve Cryptocurrencies against Quantum Vulnerabilities.” What are your thoughts on the research? Explore how quantum computing could introduce new security risks while creating opportunities for stronger, more resilient technologies.

3. Physical AI — Data Infrastructure

Physical AI relies on diverse data from real-world environments, yet collecting, processing, and deploying that data remains challenging. How would you address this problem? Consider innovative approaches to data collection, processing, standardization, integration, and deployment.

4. Personal Data Privacy — Rethinking Data Ownership

Every time we use a digital product, we may share more personal data than we realize. Design a product that helps people understand what data they give up, how it is used, and what control they have over it. How can your solution make data privacy more transparent and actionable?

5. Climate Change — Turning Awareness into Action

Climate change awareness remains a challenge, especially when it comes to translating knowledge into action. Design a product that makes climate change more tangible, engaging, and relevant to everyday life. How might your solution inspire people to make more sustainable decisions?

At the intersection of technology, society, and sustainability, these conversations invite us to look beyond technical breakthroughs and consider the broader implications of AI, from the systems we build to the communities we serve and the planet we share.

Whether you are a researcher, engineer, entrepreneur, policymaker, student, or simply curious about the future of AI, this is an opportunity to exchange ideas, challenge assumptions, and discover new possibilities for collaboration.

Let's move beyond what AI can do to what AI can do for good
