About Event

Genesia Orbit HCMC (Genesia Ventures) invites you to join an in-depth conversation on one of the most important challenges facing early-stage startups today:

How do you build a growth engine that is not only fast — but repeatable and scalable?

Many startups experience short bursts of traction. A campaign works, a channel performs well, or a product moment goes viral. Yet very few startups manage to turn that traction into a system that continuously generates customers.

In reality, sustainable startup growth rarely comes from isolated tactics. It comes from building a growth engine — a system where product, data, user behavior, and experimentation work together to drive predictable and scalable growth.

This Orbit Workshop brings together founders, operators, and investors for a practical conversation on how growth engines are actually built in Vietnam.

👤 About the Guest Speaker

Duy Nguyen

Founder, LIT
Former Partner, Do Ventures

Duy brings a rare combination of experience across venture investing, business strategy, growth operations, online marketing, and data analytics.

Before founding LIT — where he now builds growth engines to launch and scale consumer brands in Vietnam — Duy served as a Partner at Do Ventures and previously worked closely with many leading startups across Southeast Asia through CyberAgent Vietnam.

His background in programming logic, data science, and user experience allows him to collaborate closely with engineering teams on product development, KPI tracking, experimentation, and ML/AI applications.

This session explores growth from both sides of the table — investor pattern recognition and real operator execution.

💡 About This Session

🔎 Building a Repeatable Growth Engine

For early-stage startups, growth is often misunderstood. A successful campaign or channel can create momentum — but that does not necessarily mean a startup has built a real growth system. A true growth engine has three defining characteristics:

• Repeatable — the process can be executed consistently

• Predictable — outputs can be estimated from inputs

• Scalable — growth can increase without breaking the system

This session reframes growth not as a collection of tactics, but as a designed system. Through insights from venture investing and real operating experience, we’ll explore:

• Why traction is often mistaken for a growth engine

• The difference between growth tactics vs. growth systems

• What signals indicate early traction but not yet repeatable growth

• How data, experimentation, and engineering support real growth loops

• What makes growth different in the Vietnam startup ecosystem

• When founders should scale marketing — and when they should fix the product

Because in the long run:Growth tactics create momentum. Growth engines create sustainability.
